before ordering:
The type of agar that has to be used for carnivorous plants
is soft and breaks up easily during transit. As there is an air gap in the flasks and tubes between the
plants in agar, and the lid, the plants get shaken out of the agar
and usually damaged during transit.
The only way we will send tissue cultured flasks is with the flasks filled with
sterile vermiculite in the lab, to try and avoid any
movement of the plants caused during
postage. We pack the flasks carefully, but unfortunately they are just thrown in
with the rest of the mail during transit to you.
ALL
FLASKS AND TUBES ARE STERILE WHEN THEY LEAVE OUR LABORATORY. WE
WILL NOT BE
HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR CONTAMINATION WHICH MAY OCCUR WHILE IN
TRANSIT TO YOU.
We take all care, but no responsibility.
Plants damaged in transit WILL NOT result
in a refund or replacement.
Please understand this, because we WILL
NOT refund or replace damaged flasks.
Cancellation of orders will not result in a refund.
You will need to check with your
quarantine/customs if they will pass the tissue cultures on inspection with the
sterile vermiculite in them.
DELIVERY: All flasks and tubes are made to order. We
don't keep any flasks/tubes in stock, as they start to deteriorate in the lab if
they are not purchased. Delivery can take minimum 16 weeks, sometimes much
longer, some orders do take up to 12 months or more. We cannot give you an estimated
delivery time as it depends on the time it takes for the plants to grow roots,
as some plants are slower than others, and depending at what stage the mother
flasks are at at the time of ordering.
Please only order if you are
prepared to wait for your tissue cultures to grow. All flasks and tubes will be held
and posted together, unless the order is large, then we may split it into
two shipments if some plants come ready first.
I cannot keep asking the lab to check on progress of shipments, as this is time
costly to them. So again, please do not order unless you are
prepared to wait.
Price includes express air mail
postage worldwide and sterile vermiculite in the flasks.
