As used by Triffid Park for potting Nepenthes in.  This is a mixture of orchid bark, sphagnum moss, sphagnum peat moss and perlite.  Purchasing our mix means that you do not have to purchase 4 large bags of mix from your nursery to make up small batches of mix to pot your Nepenthes in.

This sale is for a 10 LITRE BAG OF NEPENTHES MIX - posted on its own with no plants.

This is a special, posted on its own, in a prepaid express post satchel.

This is a next business day delivery, if you are in an overnight area.
It does not include next business day from placing order, only from when I post item.

IF YOU ARE PURCASING PLANTS, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS LISTING, PURCHASE THE NEPENTHES MIX IN THE 3 LITRE LOTS THAT WE HAVE FOR SALE IN A SEPARATE LISTING, OTHERWISE YOU ARE PAYING DOUBLE POSTAGE.

If you do purchase plants on the same order form, we WILL post everything together, and then you will be paying double postage.

Please use the coupon code Prepaid Bag at check out.  This can ONLY be used for this Nepenthes Mix, not any plant orders.  Orders will not be posted if you use this coupon code for any other purchases.
Therefore, you will need to make a separate order for this product, if you are ordering other items as well and would like it posted separately.

Please DO NOT include this in your minimum $30 plant order.  It cannot be posted with plants.

This is due to the fact that the 10 litres of nepenthes mix fills the postage satchel entirely.

We do have Nepenthes mix for sale in smaller quantities posted with plants.

  • REPOTTING:
Wet your Nepenthes Mix thoroughly through first before potting your plant into it. The best way is to soak it in a bucket of water, until moist.
The best time to re-pot is in the late winter to early spring. Use a pot to suit the size of the plant, giving it enough room to grow for the following year, but not too big that it dwarfs the plant.  Nepenthes generally have a small root system, so can live quite happily in a pot not too large.  Nepenthes do not like their roots to be teased.
